TILPY AG (further referred to as "Tilpy", "we", "us" or "our") operates an online platform for services.
For the purpose of the Swiss Federal Act of 19 June 1992 on Data Protection Act 1998 (the “Act”), the controller of the data file is Tilpy AG.
We value your trust and we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy when you are accessing our platform or any website maintained by us including without limitation the website at www.Tilpy.com and our social networking pages and any application for mobile devices (together the “Platform”).
This Privacy Policy explains what types of personal and non-personal information we collect when you use our Platform and the basis on which any personal information we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. By disclosing your personal information to us by using the Platform, or communicating with us, you consent to the collection, storage and processing of your personal information as stated in this policy.
Tilpy uses the personal information we collect from you to provide our services to you. We will not rent, sell or share your personal information with any third party for its own marketing purposes without your consent. We take all reasonable measures to ensure your private data is kept secure.

If you do not agree to any part of this Privacy Policy, then we cannot provide the Platform or services to you, and you should stop accessing the Platform and delete your Tilpy account permanently using the deletion function provided in your account.
When you register your user account on Tilpy, update your registration details or otherwise use or register to use our services, we may collect, store and use the following types of personal information (depending on your use of the services):

material submitted by you to us including without limitation answers to questions on surveys or registration forms
details of any requests or transactions you make through our services. Tilpy partners with PayPal for payment processing, and the payment information you submit is collected and used by them in accordance with PayPal’s privacy policies. Tilpy doesn’t store your payment information apart from the chosen payment method and country that is required for tax reasons
information from your interaction with our Platform, services, content and advertising, including, such as your IP address, the type of device or browser you use, and your actions on the site

your bank account details in order to make payments to you for sold items on Tilpy

When you create an account and set up your public profile on Tilpy, others will be able to see the following data:
our first and last name or company name (if selected) as display name
date since when you created an account with Tilpy and the date when you’re last activity was on the site
your slogan and your provided location (town and country)
your profile picture
your uploaded portfolio and marketplace pictures including additional picture captions and descriptions if provided from you
projects you have created
additional information you choose to add to your public profile (like spoken languages, CV, etc.)
If you want to set up a public profile, but don’t want others to see your first and last name as well your profile picture, then you do best choose an unidentifiable company name as display name and select an unidentifiable profile picture. You can modify or delete certain information associated with your account in your backend whenever you want to.
When you create an account and set up your public profile on Tilpy, registered Tilpy users will be able to see the following data on top of the publicly shared information:
your personal description (bio)
your CV
additional information you choose to add to your public profile (like spoken languages, CV, studio & equipment)
When a pictures gets sold over Tilpy, each party of the contract (supplier and customer) will know the full name and the full address from the other party. Suppliers never receive any payment information of the customer.
We may disclose your personal information to the police, regulatory bodies or legal advisers in connection with any alleged criminal offence or suspected breach of our Terms and Conditions and/or the breach of other terms and conditions otherwise relating to you or otherwise where required by law. We will co-operate with law enforcement agencies and will comply with any court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of (or personal information relating to) any user breaching our Terms and Service and/or the breach of other terms and conditions otherwise relating to such user or otherwise for the prevention or detection of crime or the apprehension or prosecution of offenders.
We may provide general statistical information about our users including, sales patterns, traffic volumes and related matters to third parties on an aggregated basis and the data details will not include information personally identifying you.
The personal information that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by parties operating outside the EEA who work on Our behalf. By submitting your personal information, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. Our Platform may use social plugins, which are provided and operated by third-party companies, such as Facebook's Like Button. As a result, you may send to the third-party company the information that you are viewing on a certain part of Our Platform. If you are logged into your account with the third-party company, then the third party may be able to link information about your visit to Our Platform to your account with them. Similarly, your interactions with the social plugin may be recorded by the third party.

Data infrastructure is hosted at DigitalOcean, located at 101 6th Ave, New York, NY 10013. The DigitalOcean servers we use are located in Frankfurt, Germany.
Our data infrastructure is supported by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
It is your right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information, except where an exception or exemption applies.
To modify or delete the personal information you’ve provided to us, please log in and update your profile. You may also delete your account from your account settings page. We may retain certain information as required by law or as necessary for our legitimate business purposes.
You also can request a copy of your personal data from Tilpy by sending an email to support@tilpy.com.
We try to keep emails to a minimum. You may elect to receive certain marketing email communications, in accordance with your preferences, and from which you may opt out at any time by adjusting your notification settings in your Tilpy notification center.
We’ll also send you service-related announcements when it’s necessary to do so.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll let you know by notifying you on the Site itself and/or by sending you an email about any changes we may make to our Privacy Policy in the future.
