Description
For some people they are mostly an impressive example of architecture - their onion-shaped domes have become one of the strongest stereotypical visuals of Russia. For others, they are sacred buildings to worship God. Regardless of photographer's confession, Orthodox churches are a good subject for photos. In this project, we gather best images in this genre.
Must-haves
The church, either exterior or interior, should dominate the frame. The image should have a message beyond architecture.
Nice-to-haves
Preferably not the well-known landmark, although interesting composition would save the case.
Should-not-haves
Pictures should not depict churches or any other religious buildings (as well as devotees) in a derogative or offensive way. Should not contain any slogans or propaganda elements.
