Description
Sergey Prokudin-Gorsky was a Russian chemist and photographer. He is best known for his pioneering work in color photography of early 20th-century Russia. In 1905-1915 he travelled the Russian Empire to catch the ethnical diversity of the country on film. His photographic heritage is a timeless and unique ethnographical treasure. More than one hundred years later, we want to celebrate cultural diversity of the world in the same lines as Prokudin-Gorsky once did. Globalisation slowly destroys the differences in lifestyles and even appearances of people. Let's show our artistic resistance to this trend and demonstrate how different we are.
