On 24th of March 2016 - Yesterday - there was the ticket sale for the Burning Man Festival 2016. It took 30 minutes to sell out 30'000 tickets. Anyway, I don't have a ticket and it hurts. But why does it hurt and why doesn't The Burning Man lose its gravity since it was first burned 30 years ago? I mean at least it didn't lose its gravity for me. Ok, I am a virgin Burner and I wasn't there when it was burning for the first time in 1986.
In 2014 I made the long awaited journey to the Burning Man with my brother-in-law. Yes, my brother-in-law is just a great guy and therefore the perfect match to plan this dream trip.
My expectations for Burning Man were incredibly high. Nevertheless, when I finally ended up in the desert with thousands of like minded people, I was blown away by the atmosphere of Burning Man. One big community sharing the gathering. It was so different to all the things I have ever experienced in my life. It was magical and I felt amazingly comfortable. I did let myself go with the spirit, which was surrounding me.
Thanks a lot to all burners who make this place fantastic.
